The Sensory Box Co is a finalist in the Nottinghamshire Live Women in Business Awards!

Wow, wow, wow!

It's been a crazy few weeks here at Sensory Box HQ - in between getting all our Christmas orders shipped out, introducing newly designed boxes and of course, coping with pregnancy!

Well we can also add to the list being shortlisted as a finalist (top 3) in the 'new business of the year' category of the Nottinghamshire Live Women in Business Awards. Unfortunately I lost out to another amazing new business in Notitngham, but simply being a finalist was mind-blowing! It's an amazing bit of recognition for my little business that we're doing great things in our corner of the world - and the sensory world is rapidly growing as we see more and more businesses enter the space.

My biggest thank you for helping me get to this point is to you - my customers and supporters. So many of your share in my successes, share your own stories and photos with me, and encourage me during the hard days! Your messages in the middle of the night (those night feeds, eh) telling me that your little one is loving their foil blanket really do keep me going! Those dings on my phone telling me someone has made a purchase? I do a happy dance each time - it's a running joke in my family that I will interrupt people at any opportunity to tell them I've had another sale! It all means the world to me. Spreading the love in the most valuable thing anyone can do for my business - be that reviews, sharing a Facebook post or commenting on an Instagram post. Every. Little. Helps.

Of course, I'd be foolish not to mention someone else who has been instrumental in our success to date... And yes, whilst my other half has been there every step of the way (and Joey and my family!); another person has been amazing at championing small businesses like mine, and that's Stacey Solomon. She's brought a lot you to my site and helped you make a decision to purchase one of my boxes, and she does it with other small businesses up and down the country too. One post or tag really can be life changing!

So, a massive thank you to all of you, and I hope you continue to support my little business in the future, we've got more to achieve and 2020 is set to be a BIG year!
